The Association provides cattle producers with a unified voice in Shasta County, the state and the nation. The Shasta County Cattlemen’s Association is active in the areas that affect the range/livestock industry by:
• Developing Shasta County Right to Farm Ordinance • Contributing to the Ag Element of the County’s General Plan • Participating on the the County Resource Lands Committee • Preserving Ranchers’ Property and Water Rights • Working to Preserve the Future of the Livestock Industry

• Jr. Livestock Auction at Fair • Steer Carcass Contest at Fair • Local Bred & Fed Conest at Fair • Shasta County Beef Ambassador Program • Shasta County Beef Princess Program • Two $1000 Scholarships • Steve Moller Memorial Load Fund for 4H and FFA Beef Exhibitors • Shasta County Feeder Sale

Shasta County Cattlemen sponsored the Shasta District Fair Carcass contest. The Super Steer buckle was sponsored by the Urricelqui family. First place carcass winner buckle sponsored by the Shasta County Cattlemen. 1-3 carcass winners receive $100 for first, $75 for second and $50 for third place sponsored by the Shasta County CattleWomen! Super Steer - Emerie Brown Carcass contest - 1st place tie, Emerie Brown and Gavin Brewer. 2nd place Morgan Frandsen, 3rd Sydney Frost. Gold Seal winners: Emerie Brown, Benjamin Hudson, Mcquaid Jennings, Sydney Mollath, Tatyana Stayer.
