Investing in Tomorrow’s Agricultural Leaders
Shasta County Cattlemen’s Association is proud to support the next generation of ranchers through diverse youth initiatives, including financial scholarships, hands-on fair lending programs, and the California Beef Ambassador Program.
Shasta County Cattlemen's Memorial Youth Livestock Loan Program
Founded in memory of Steve Moller, this program offers no-cost loans to Shasta County youth to purchase, show, and sell cattle at the Shasta County District Fair. It gives young agricultural leaders hands-on experience in livestock management, record-keeping, and financial responsibility — with loans repaid after the fair auction sale.
The program also honors the memory of Mrs. Virginia Morelli, William Quinn, Glenn Aldridge, Mrs. Mike Moller, and Dr. Magladry.
